About TellMeScore

TellMeScore is a free guitar tab and sheet music editor that runs entirely in your browser. No sign-up, no install, no upload — open the editor and start writing.

It exists because writing a simple song chart shouldn't require buying desktop software or creating yet another account. Everything here is built around speed of entry: move a cursor, type fret numbers, and see standard notation and tablature rendered together instantly.

There is deliberately no server behind TellMeScore. Your scores are autosaved in your browser and saved as .tmscore.json files on your own disk. That keeps the tool free to run — and keeps your music yours.
